Lifetime/One-time Deals Worth Considering

I achieved the impossible and got a partial refund from StackSocial

All it took was over a month of back and forth via email, and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (lol) about their misleading sales that don’t actually end once the “end date” is reached.

They kept basically saying “we’re just an online marketplace, the sellers set the prices and when their items are on sale, we can’t do anything, sorry lol” and they probably got sick of me comparing them to AppSumo (which is also “a marketplace”) and AppSumo’s 60 day money back guarantee.

Congratz  Never needed their support (luckily, it seems). Everything I redeemed worked right off the bat.

Edit: not vouching for this, buying codes on the second hand market is always risky. And i just noticed that he’s selling poplink, and poplink crashed already.

Never heard of any of those except Beamer… @Ympker any ideas? :stuck_out_tongue:

I have PixelMe, it’s great. (Although I’ll be posting a free link shortener that allows custom domains on the free stuff topic soon)

SalesFlare is awesome, I love it. It’s simple but has features likes email flows, remainders, tasks, a custom pipelines, a plugin for Outlook desktop, and more…)

LiveAgent is great too. Just an awesome client support platform, live chat, omnichannel, and email tickets. That’s probably a two seat LTD like mine. you can then add more seats to it.

Albacross is good, not great because they changed they screwed the LTD users changing some of the available features promised to a poorer version and blocking the best features from the LTD users.

I’ve heard good stuff about Astra Web Security and Malcare but never used them.

I heard of some (like Astra and LiveAgent), but wouldn’t buy from someone reselling their LTD either. Especially someone I don’t know.
Not saying @404error offer is bad, just wouldn’t.

Not my offer. just posting Andrew offer, in case someone is interested.
Andrew is the owner of an LTD market so it as trustable as this gets, regarding buying 2nd hand codes.

Nah I meant “the offer you posted” not that the offer is from you. Unluckily phrased indeed. Mb

Hm, my first impression has lessened a bit:
It imported the site, and it looked really nice, but the way it did it, was by keeping the the link rel parts in the the head section, so it would only look nice as long as the original page still serves the same stylesheet files … :man_shrugging:

Yeah, but it says in their docs you should safe the webpage with all resoures manually then open in pinegrow if you want to be the most independent from the live site. Not sure, maybe this warning/tip didn’t pop up for you? Not even sure if it was a pop up, or I read that up so cant say for sure.
Anyway, Pinegrow has helped me a lot to learn how certain areas on sites are built. Really cool in that regard.

I don’t remember any popups … No big deal, but I fired up this trial version to fetch this site. I don’t really need a visual page builder, but sometimes it might be handy.
Having the possibiluty of using different frameworks, not just Bootstrap, is really cool, though!
Unless I get a really good deal, this is way too expensive for my usage.

Been playing with LiveCanvas lately, though. It’s really nice for some quick jobs. (Still hope it’ll grow to add more powerful modules.)

Then I probably read this somewhere :stuck_out_tongue: My bad.

Yeah, I have yet to find an adequate definition of WHAT Pinegrow is, actually. It is not really a page builder as you’d imagine when looking at other industry standard page builders. Then again, it is different and has very extensive Features (for better, sometimes for worse perhaps) and a steep learning curve. I still believe, if mastered, it is a very powerful tool. As for me, I am not sure what I want to achieve with it particually, but I use it ever so often

Nice to hear you have grown fond of Live Canvas

I recently signed up for a lifetime membership with EpisodeCalendar.com. It tracks TV shows you’ve watched or are watching, showing upcoming episodes in a nice calendar view (hence the name ). It’s free for up to 20 shows. The lifetime deal costs €30 and gives you unlimited shows, no ads and a few other features. They’ve been around since 2007 and so far I’m really happy with it.

What do you think of this deal?
KDMARC | Exclusive Offer from AppSumo

Never had an issue with domain abuse or similar so for me it wouldn’t make much sense purchasing it. What’s more, there are many lifetime deals out there I’d rather purchase if I was gonna spend more money.

Just a heads up that there is a flow of LinkedIn automation tools outthere in LTD.
Be warned that LinkedIn is always on the hunt and WILL ban your account if you’re caught. These tools steal business from LinkedIn paid services so you can be freaking sure LinkedIn ain’t joking around.

A cautionary tale.
The owner of Lemlist, Guillaume Moubeche, used to own another SaaS that was a LinkedIn automation tool. Even with all the knowledge and experience he accumulated from running that company, he still got his account flagged and banned by LinkedIn, after months of back and forth with LinkedIn he got social media influencers to pressure LinkedIn by having these influencers posting shit about LinkedIn claiming it was being unfair to these guy, he even sent an email to Lemlist customers to plea on his behalf.
here’s the result.

Anyone have experience with those crypto ‘lifetime’ domains?

Pulled the trigger on LiveCanvas after watching some more videos and @flips feedback

99$/unlimited sites was too good to pass up

:+1: If you make some cool modules for LiveCanvas, please share.:sunglasses:

(A client wants a proper parallax effect, and I haven’t gotten around to making it yet. Some tutorials, like w3schools are missing the point, just adding a fixed background.)
