I think I’ll treat myself with this one after getting one for the wife with 4gb / 64 gb.
I’d be ditching my Huawei SE as it’s non longer usable / too slow.
It would be too risky to have a higher end / pricier phone while in the streets.
Any suggestions or recommendations ?
@Mason which one do you have ?
None of the above . I have an Essential Phone (PH-1)
I have the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It’s been great so far
Ordered a Samsung A71 .
Why did you decide to go for Samsung having favored Xiaomi, initially? Looks like a good phone though
Price wise they are pretty much the same and a friend of mine bugged me about “security concerns” plus he has the A70 and seems like the A71 has a nice’ish camera.
OnePlus 7 Pro here. It’s pretty good, but I think I’m close to wanting to upgrade again.
I love those popup camera, but hate those curve screen…
I’m looking to finally replace my dying Nexus 6 for an OnePlus Nord. I also considered the Xiaomi Mi 10 lite, but I thought Oxygen OS would make an easier transition from stock Android.
I miss my Nexus 6P…
If you can fork out some more money, go for the Pixel. It’s still stock Android and I hear it’s an awesome phone. About OnePlus, I heard bad things in regards to warranty handling. Friend of mine had it.
I initially chose the Pixel 4a 5G but when you compare it against OnePlus Nord and Xiami Mi 10 lite you paying a lot more for stock Android and the best camera. I don’t take many pictures, so it’s not worth the extra money for me.
Almost a month and I haven’t decided for the phone.
I mean, I really like to have the Pixel but it’s a lot of money for a phone. I use to buy phone for around $200. The Pixel is now $600 for me.
Why not grab a Xiaomi? Great performance and specs for an affordable price. Hard to beat from a money-performance perspective these days.
I have Xiaomi and are incredible phones for the budget, but I don’t like the camera at all.
And yes I know, if I want an outstanding camera I need to pay more. But there it is my conflict
OnePlus Nord is about 400 and has a decent camera, also the pixel 4a and 4a 5g (the latter has a wide camera) are quite cheaper than the regular pixel
Just upgraded from my Mi 9 to the Mi 10 Great first impressions! The 90Hz display is a very nice addition.
Take some day and night pictures and share them here please
My pocophone display got burned by a wax candle.
Ordered a xiaomi redmi 9 pro.
Bought the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 64GB and a blank for the cat (banggood said free) for $185 including shipping.
Let’s see if it arrives at home.
I didn’t buy anything more expensive because above $200 I have to pay taxes. So in 2 years, I will buy the Redmi 10
EDIT: I should have bought it a few days ago. Today it got more expensive because of the peruvian situation.
