I heard a lot about this device. how is it comparing to Samsung/Huawei?
also, does it support full google services?

Yes. As opposed to huawei, xiaomi has Google apps built in. What I like about them are,

  • Bootloader can be unlocked. (Huawei does not)
  • Build quality is comparable to samsung.
  • Awesome value for money. They say they add only 5% of the final cost to the device. For example, note 9 pro has 6GB Ram, 128GB internal memory, samsung 64MP sensor, snapdragon 720 processer. 5029MAH battery. No one else has these for the price.
  • Security updates for some time.

However,

  • Their Android version MIUI is little heavy and has bloat.
  • Some versions have ads in OS. :laughing: Probably only indian variants.

That’s why I like to unlock bootloader ASAP and flash a stock Android. Almost all the time there is a active community in XDA.
