If you provide justification for 36,893,488,147,419,103,232 addresses, I’m sure they’d be happy to just give it to you.
The irony of having your own /29s with RIPE but having to “justify” (and likely pay for) a /64 to them.
You can always use a Hurricane Tunnel. That’s what everyone on “We terminated KiwiFarms on Day 0 of contract renewal ColoCrossing - because they hurt an alleged tranny pedophiles’ feelings” do.
Hi there! We do not offer additional / 64 subnets for our root servers. Customers can order an additional / 56 IPv6 subnet for € 49.00 one-time (excl. VAT). You can do this via Robot or in a support ticket.

Taking on NetCups’ Virtual Switch?
When did Hentzer peer at Linx, only noticed it when I was doing a traceroute and seen core7.lon.hetzner.com.
Peeringdb say’s they got 100Gbps port at LINX LON1.
Must be very recently as wasn’t in their last newsletter and isn’t listed @ Data centers yet
One of our team members took this pick to show what the DCs look with the lights off. Some people find it a bit scary at first - what do you think? Julia and I both thought it made the DC look like a good setting for some sort of scary movie. For me personally, it reminded me a bit of the scene in Jurassic Park (the first one) where the kids are hiding from the raptors in the kitchen. Then later, it make me think a bit of Arya hiding from white walkers in the library in GOT…
Make sure you remember this next Halloween.
My exact thought as well
That would be scary as fuck.
EDIT: Wait. Katie and Julia?
Why don’t you come play with us… FOREVER.
(We’ve got cloud so its not quite purgatory)
hmmmm thinking about it … that’s going to take the creepiness to a whole 'nother level, so let’s say no.
“Any resemblance to persons living or (un)dead is strictly coincidental.”
The original picture is nicely done I think - the vibe reminded me just a bit of 2001: A Space Odyssey - but then another Stanley Kubrick movie came to mind …
@uptime Nice photo edit. I was kind of hoping someone would mess around with it.
Some of the colleagues have said working the night shifts takes a bit of time to get used to. I used to feel that way too, when I briefly studied at the Biosphere 2. Have you ever worked or studied in a place like that? --Katie
Great, now I want the next IT (chapter 3?) to be set inside a datacenter. You can even recreate the curb/drain scene with raised floors.
I’ve never tried to watch IT because clowns already freak me out. Although the raised floors made me think a bit of the crypts in GOT Winterfell battle. We had a bit of a debate yesterday at lunch as to whether or not a DC would be a good defensive place in the event of a zombie apocalypse, and we decided it wasn’t in the end. --Katie
