I’m too happy with GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks
I tried Gutenberg again this week. It looks like mess to my eyes. And if I click “Edit in Divi”, it just adds the embedding code, instead of actually switching to Divi Builder.
Maybe I can learn to survive Gutenberg/blocks editor at some point, but for now I switched to classic.
But on another note, I found that Caldera Forms are being sunset at the end of the year, and after searching and testing quite a few, I found Smart Forms, which has reasonable Lifetime pricing.
Seems very easy to use and quite powerful.
GeneratePress/Blocks, too, is a solid pick
@flips I still haven’t grown too fond of Gutenberg myself yet. Nice forms plugins you found there. Will take a look later
No idea on the company if it’s legit or not, but saw this float by my radar and remembered some previous deals like it linked here…
1tb for $97, 500gb for $70, 100gb for $30. Ends in 6 days
I thought most StackSocial deals just reset the counter every 7 days …
rclone doesn’t support Starchive though, which (for some use cases) would make it less useful than something like Koofr.
Damn, was very lucky to grab one of those 25 lifetime seats today.
They sold out in minutes…
Perfect for my web design bussiness
I am not against contract
rsync.net 1TB 540$ LifeTime Deal
Hello, you have a discounted rsync.net account.
We are experimenting with a lifetime prepayment option: we would upgrade your storage to one full terabyte and then bill you a three year equivalent of your current rate with us.
In your case, it would be: 1000 GB * $0.015 * 36 months = USD $540
You would never make another payment for this 1TB of space and would be entitled to your service from rsync.net for the rest of your life.
If you would like to use this offer, simply respond to this email with “YES”. We will upgrade you to 1TB of space and charge your card on file USD $540.
FAQ:
Q. What does “lifetime” mean ?
A. It means that rsync.net will provide service to you for the rest of your own life. It is NOT transferable.
Q. What if rsync.net is sold or goes out of business ?
A. rsync.net has provided cloud storage for 21 years (!) and has been incorporated as “rsync.net” since 2005. We plan to continue offering our service into the indefinite future.
If rsync.net has a change of ownership, the terms of that transaction will include this indefinite commitment to existing lifetime accounts.
Q. What if I grow beyond 1TB in the future ?
A. We will upgrade your account in 100 GB increments @ a 36 month equivalent of USD $54
Q. Can I purchase a lifetime account smaller than 1TB ?
A. No.
Q. Can I purchase a lifetime account LARGER than 1TB ?
A. Yes - just let us know, in increments of 100 GB …
Q. Is everything all right ? Is rsync.net struggling financially ?
A. rsync.net is a profitable company with zero debt and 2021 was a record-breaking year for both revenue and profits. This very limited offer of lifetime plans is an experiment and we may
or may not offer it in the future.
Q. Does this offer expire ?
A. Yes - this offer expires March 1, 2022.
Happy New Year!

Enpass Password Manager lifetime deal is back on Stacksocial. Was gone for a long while: 30$ minus any coupons you find (you can try Honey extension to find coupons): https://stacksocial.com/sales/enpass-plan-lifetime-subscriptions
Thanks. Oddly could not find any eligible coupons… sigh
Hmm Maybe I’ll check later today and let you know if I find something
Still cheaper than 70€(?!) from official site.
No coupons with Honey.
Still a good price compared to normally 70€. With them since like 3 years (18$ lifetime back then)
I bought Enpass LTD for €59 (edit: $59, actually). Very satisfied.
(Used 1Password before, but Enpass works very well. I prefer choosing ny own cloud storage )
There is even the “Wifi Sync” feature (if you don’t want to go for any cloud storage). I haven’t tried that one (yet), but also looked interesting. Then again, for sake of convenience, a cloud storage may be better
It also feels like support replies within 24 hours whenever I have an issue. Can’t complain. Very happy with it so far. On Chromebook it doesn’t work perfectly (I often have to trigger Enpass manually), but then again Chrome OS is somewhat a mobile-ish OS with apps from the Google Playstore. On all other devices it works without any problems for me
Yes, Enpass is very similar to classic, standalone 1Password (wifi sync also). But 1Password wants all to “choose” their subscription, so many features are only for the subscribers (Linux, CLI acces and more).
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, no. Definitely happy with Enpass here
1Password has now fully switched to subscriptions, as the latest desktop version does not support local vaults and a standalone license can not be purchased.
Oh, ok. I guess I switched just in time
(Got Enpass in December.)
