Hey,

If you are bored and wanna play around with a LXC container: https://microlxc.net/
Currently AU and JP are available, you can pick between 128 and 256MB packages.

As usual some requirements apply:

  • Your account needs to be 3 months old
  • You need to have at least 50 Posts
  • You need to have at least 50 Likes

If you meet these, you can go on the website, and to verify that you are you, you need to post the token that will be given to you in this thread. The Bot will do the rest.

If stuff goes well, it will be publicly available at end of the next week.
Please report bugs and suggestions.

PS: IPv6 is DHCP based in AU but JP needs Static config, which is automatically configured on Debian & Devuan but not on CentOS/Ubuntu needs to be done by hand yet. You can find your IPv6 in the Panel just substract -1 for the Gateway.

@root You got a code, the hole process can take a few minutes.
Maybe there is a bug that I didn’t show it? or did you closed the tab to fast?

Would be nice if the checkbox on the ToS is white. Had a hard time knowing I did actually click the button :stuck_out_tongue:

And I was also not able to get the token. All I see is this :frowning:

@sanvit Small shock, fixed an SQL prepare error on my side, I told SQL to expect a integer but the requestID is a string, so It did select the first request which was from Psycho. Fixed.

    2/3. Yea these images get rebuild daily + updated every few days automatically on the nodes, pretty neat. Its pretty minimalistic, not even ssh is installed by default or a password is set.

@sanvit Just go on the Deploy page, it will check if the request is still valid, could be already expired.

@sanvit Yea, needs to be fixed, thanks.
Besides, the connection issue, seems like network related, no 500s in the logs.

Also I noticed also decent amount of Steal while the kVM is idle, sucks.
Likely need to migrate.

@root There is no trick, you just have to wait, the page refreshes every 10 seconds.

Using Debian 10 in JP, and IPv6 is configured by default, but not working. Ping gives error from gateway: “Destination unreachable: Address unreachable”.

@Mason - YABS is a success, but there is no light version. That script does not work on such small NAT servers, because of space issues.
