Yep should work, but those permissions sometimes aren’t set properly as well. @imok mind giving it a try? I didn’t recall you could be using the samba share to mount an ISO, that’s often disabled, though can be enabled should you wish.
I was trying that until I loss internet connection at work.
When I’m at home I use the samba share from a server because I won’t be able to upload an ISO at 500kbps XD

Have any other VirMach Buffalo VPSes? I did a install over IPMI earlier this year using a Windows VPS I had and was a piece of cake
