Lol I don’t do cage fighting, I watch the shit out of it though!

I was making a joke reference to the fact that I have now cut enough weight to be allowed to fight in the heavyweight division  because it would be so ridiculous, I am now only 10lbs heavier than this guy

Jeans are easy though!

Every dog I have ever given dentastix to gets bad diarrhea for a few days after, its a balancing act.

I have also had a dog almost die from eating real bones because a piece got lodged in his throat so I stopped giving them, also giving real bones can be a devastating idea for dogs with behavior issues, I learned that the hard way.

If she is ok on the dentastix then I would stick with them, if you are wondering why she is shitting baby food, that will be why

Yeah Dentastix, she loves those!

So, news guys.

Super stressed. Completely.
Vets came, she ran away, bit the vet, we had to run a few kms to get her. The pill to put her asleep didnt do anything at all. Two strangulators, and she was almost suffocating, she bit herself and there was a bit blood. She finally calmed a bit.
I was able to get her calm, petting her. Love Gucci.

Vets told me she needs some more equipment to avoid bitting anyone. Not that she did, she bited the vet as she was defending herself, gladly, only clothes were ruined…

I am super nervous today but these vets were extremely professional and she has all vaccines now. She was missing the chip ID, they read it and its there now.
One more vaccine next month.

Costs here for vaccine, pill.

@Mason @Wolveix please update total spent and remaining as well as the receipts.

We shall have around 70 EUR remaining balance. Future donations will go towards her next vaccine next month, and an accessory she needs.

Probably better than the one above.

Pic of Gucci after the whole thing… She is sleepy now.

Vet congratulated us for adopting her, told us most people would have abandoned her as she isnt easy to deal with. We love Gucci and couldnt be happier with the dog we adopted. Tough challenge but totally worth. Even after the whole thing she kissed me and I was comforting her.

Damn, sorry to hear that it is so stressful eh!

I used to have to essentially go to cuddle penny, get my arms in the right place as if showing affection and then essentially get her in a headlock with my right arm so her head was at my back and then use my left arm behind her back legs so she literally could not move.

Get the injection done, and then spend 15 minutes or so afterwards slowly releasing pressure and calming her down again before I dared to let go.

She got wise to that move though and in the long run I had to muzzle her, not easy either, a harness is for sure the right way to go, I have one that would probably fit her if you want it, no use to me any more?

Sure, can you show me how that one looks? Isnt it too big for her? I got a Julius K9 for Steve, though she probably needs a muzzle as well.

And yeah it makes sense. Its probably the best way to go, with a headlock and harness…

Edit, I think I meant muzzle, not headlock.

Just had a look, cant find it, will ask my GF where it is she will know, it is ridiculously changeable size wise, it could fit the bull mastiff and my little collie beagle cross and Gucci is in between.

edit: As I type this I just remembered the last dog we had that passed away 6 months or so ago was cremated in it… sorry, I just completely forgot when offering it.

Oh damn. No problem mate. We will get a harness, probably Julius K9, and a muzzle. Already seen plenty of those and will arrange it tomorrow or Friday.

It was one of these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/EzyDog-Classic-Chest-Harness-Chocolate/dp/B002QA4VMA

The padded chest plate is great and the large fits anything from a beagle to a bull mastiff.

Edit: just looked at the Julius K9 i think that might be better looks much easier to put on.

Around 40EUR. Yeah these are great. Will then buy the muzzle, costs around 30 EUR as well.

Btw, vet just called to confirm how Gucci is. We are going to change the ownership next week probably.
