Just making everyone aware of a new advisory affecting some Xeon chips and the latest CentOS kernel. We are seeing mostly E3-1230 v5 systems impacted right now.

You might want to hold off on any updates for the time being.
The issue seems more related to the intel microcode update, not specifically the kernel update.
